A real cornball of a movie, but I liked it.
No women, though, or very nearly none. There's a nice little scene when the ship pulls into port, and the local people row out to meet the sailors. In one of the small boats is a lovely young lady who catches the captain's eye for a moment. The interesting play of emotions across his face is worth the price of admission.
