I'm Not There

I'm a huge Bob Dylan fan, and this was an incredibly great movie. I suspect non-Dylan-fans would not agree. But everyone with an ounce of humanity would agree that Cate Blanchett is just...fucking...incredible in this movie. I love her now. She plays Dylan at a particular phase of his life (New York City, Warhol, drugs, sex, drugs, fame, drugs). I've always hated him during that phase; he was an asshole. A very, very talented asshole. Blanchett made me see the vulnerability beneath his assholishness.
